Marie has been working for Partners HealthCare as an Applications Analyst for the past eight years. She received her B.A. in Economics and French from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the University of Grenoble in France. She also received a Masters in Software Engineering from Brandeis University with a focus on IT Project Management.

Marie Myka Texas has been working for Partners HealthCare as an Applications Analyst for the past eight years. She received her B.A. in Economics and French from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the University of Grenoble in France. She also received a Masters in Software Engineering from Brandeis University with a focus on IT Project Management.
As part of the Partners Information Systems Department she has worked on several major IT initiatives across many of the Partners Healthcare hospitals in the Boston area. Her commitment to providing IT solutions began several years ago where she worked for a startup company responsible for building the State Farm Insurance website and online services.
Ms. Texas serves in Ministry at the Mars Hill Fellowship Church in Brookline. She lives in Randolph with her husband and their two children. She is committed to partnership with organizations working on the mission of economic development and empowerment of the impoverished. She believes that growth begins from the roots up, and not the other way around. It is by educating and empowering individuals that we will build stronger families and well balanced healthy communities.
